Water proof end cap is made from a specially formulated cross-linked polymer and is fully lined with a high performance, mastic adhesive. This combination provides a high quality, reliable system for the sealing protection of pre-insulated pipes. As one of the requirements for Quality Control of proper shrinking of sleeve, the shrink sleeve backing shall have a built-in permanent change indicator. This shall be in the form of a special pattern on the backing. Prior to shrinking the pattern shall be clearly visible and feelable to the touch.
