Laryngeal mask airway (PVC) A laryngeal mask airway, also named as laryngeal mask, is an anesthesia product that keeps a patient's airway open during anesthesia process or while patients are unconscious who can not breath on his/her own. It is a type of supraglottic anesthetic device. Laryngeal mask airway normally consists of an airway tube that connects to an elliptical mask with a cuff which is inserted through the patient's mouth, down into the tracheal.
